Media & Project Photography Release 

Authorization to Capture Content
By purchasing products, delivery, or facilitated installation services from House of Cedar, the Customer grants House of Cedar and its authorized agents a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable license to capture and use photographs or video footage of the exterior project site. 

Intellectual Property & Exclusive Ownership
House of Cedar retains full and exclusive ownership of the copyright and intellectual property for all photographs and video footage captured by our team or facilitated contractors. 

● Right to Edit: House of Cedar reserves the right to edit, crop, color-correct, or alter the media as needed for marketing purposes. 

● Waiver of Moral Rights: The Customer and any agents on-site waive all “moral rights” and the right to inspect or approve the finished product. 

● No Compensation: The Customer acknowledges that no compensation, financial or otherwise, is due for the capture or use of this media. 

Privacy and Confidentiality Standards
House of Cedar respects the privacy of our clients and follows strict de-identification protocols for all marketing assets: 

● Address Protection: We will never publish the customer’s full name, street number, or exact geographical coordinates in any public marketing materials. 

● Asset Scrubbing: We will focus solely on the quality of the nursery stock and the professional installation, ensuring that license plates, faces, and house numbers are blurred or excluded. 

● Opt-Out Protocol: If you wish to opt-out of this media release, you must notify us in writing at info@houseofcedar.ca prior to the start of the delivery or project. 

Third-Party & Subcontractor Use 

Independent contractors facilitated by House of Cedar are prohibited from using House of Cedar-owned media for their own commercial purposes without explicit written consent. Any authorized use of House of Cedar media by third parties must include a clear and prominent attribution: “Nursery Stock Supplied by House of Cedar.”
