Wholesale Program & Trade Terms 

Qualification for Trade Pricing
Wholesale and trade pricing is strictly reserved for registered landscape contractors, designers, arborists, and property management firms. House of Cedar reserves the right to request proof of professional business status, including a valid Ontario HST number and business license, before granting or maintaining trade account access. 

Pricing Confidentiality
Wholesale pricing, bulk rate sheets, and trade discounts are strictly confidential and proprietary to House of Cedar. Trade partners are prohibited from disclosing, sharing, or publishing House of Cedar wholesale pricing to homeowners, retail customers, or third-party competitors. Violation of this confidentiality will result in immediate and permanent termination of wholesale privileges. 

Account Verification and Use
Accounts are granted for professional use only. House of Cedar monitors account activity and reserves the right to audit trade accounts to ensure compliance with our professional-only standards. We may request proof of project address or employment verification to confirm that trade pricing is being applied to legitimate commercial projects. 

“Proper Invoice” Requirements & Job-Site Identification 

To comply with the Ontario Construction Act prompt payment provisions, all trade orders must be treated as “Proper Invoices.” 

● Mandatory Data: All wholesale orders must include a Job Name or Purchase Order (PO) number in the delivery instructions. 

● Legal Purpose: This ensures that invoicing and delivery documentation are correctly mapped to a specific project site for internal accounting and the preservation of lien rights. 

● Lien Preservation: House of Cedar reserves all rights to preserve and enforce liens for any unpaid materials delivered to a project site. 

Payment and Termination
Failure to adhere to these terms, including late payments or unauthorized sharing of trade discounts, will result in the immediate suspension of account access. House of Cedar reserves the right to revert any “Trade” account to “Retail” status if professional criteria are no longer met.
